Seeking to Fill the Following Position:

NGNG™ is looking for an experienced freelance Creative Marketing Assistant to support one of our incredible clients.

This person will play a key role in our client’s content marketing efforts (including blog posts and social media writing, community engagement, and organization of all moving pieces with the website) and must be highly creative.  We need someone who can write great copy, and has excellent design and video editing skills. We are looking for a self-starting marketer who wants to maximize their life’s potential, work with the best, and do their best work!

The right fit for this role will be someone who is highly organized, with great attention to detail, and does not let things drop. We are looking for someone who feels a personal responsibility to deliver at the highest level, who has superb listening and communication skills (written and verbal), is empathetic, strategic, and enjoys engaging with people online.

We are specifically looking for somebody who can really sink their teeth into a brand that’s about to explode! We are gunning for a big New York Times campaign in the spring, so we are growing this person’s speaking presence and following rapidly. It’s a very hands-on job that requires you to think ahead, be strategic as well as highly organized in your own content plan and delivery.

The right candidate will feel comfortable making suggestions and know how to maximize output for the assets that we have available. We are regularly producing new content and assets, so we need somebody who’s going to be sharp and quick to continue to build out the strategy plan and execute without much guidance. There’s no micromanagement and this person would be expected to own the role completely.

The client is a very successful, kind and supportive employer who has high standards. They are seeking someone to work by his side to grow the brand together. There will be ample room for advancement and there are many projects available. You are a good fit for this role if you have a strong capacity and are looking to dive all in on something that’s going to help impact the world in a big way!

The Creative Marketing Assistant will be provided full training in both Leverage to Scale: Content Marketing and streaming duties. Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Writing blog posts, social media, promotional content, emails, etc. (all as defined below) by implementing the Leverage To Scale: Content Marketing system. This training is provided to you at no cost as part of your onboarding
  • Manage all social media for the brand
    • Upload and optimize posts for YouTube (+ Go back and add captions to already published videos as needed)
    • Designing social media promotional graphics in Canva
    • Preparing a content calendar & all posts a week in advance for each platform
    • Managing customer support inquiries through social media messaging and email (only as it relates to the work you do – not for all areas of the company)
    • Track all social media metrics once weekly in a tracking spreadsheet
  • Craft blog posts, publish and optimize them for Google using keyword research based on weekly videos
  • Draft and send weekly email newsletter to mailing list
  • Schedule management for podcast interviews
  • Support live streaming efforts, as needed
    • You’d be present on all live streams to manage comments and engage with our community, then feed community questions via chat
    • Following the live stream, optimize the replay and use the Leverage To Scale marketing process to re-purpose the content for promotion on all social channels
  • General copywriting/messaging/positioning (the faster you pick up the brand voice the better!)
  • Travel, on occasion, to the client to capture footage for social media

Notes:

  • Our client requires someone who is available 30-40hrs/wk at a rate of $45-50/hr (rate is negotiable)
